about me

I was born on the East Coast and slowly moved west. I spent my childhood exploring nature in the midwest, catching irridescent blue beetles, bright orange butterflies and glowing fire flies, putting them in jars and letting them go. I watched light reflect off of the surface of pools and lakes and filter through autumn foliage.

Prepared then for a life in the visual arts, I moved to the San Francisco bay area to attend college where I studied Advertising Design at the Academy of Art University. I admire photography as an art form and spend many vacations behind a camera attempting to capture a certain something to make a photo “art.”

My professional work history includes graphic design and copywriting. When not working or attempting to pin light on film and on paper I spend time with friends and family, hike, read, write fiction, and travel.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my work.
